Local Area Network

Multiple network distribution rooms host resilient and load-balanced, dual gigabit connected Cisco edge switches for every 24 workstations. These edge switches are connected to a quadruple redundant Cisco network core with Terabits of switching capacity.

Dedicated Communications Access

Intra facility mesh setup uses dedicated Fast Ethernet, T1 & E1 connections. This is deilvered through multiple ISPs per facility and redundant local loops for each ISP. VPN tunnel, ISDN and Modem pool analog connectivity serves as backup in case both primary providers and all local loops fail.

Redundant Firewalls & Intrusion Prevention Systems

Two separate Juniper Firewall/IPS systems, configured as an Active-Active cluster for each of the five Internet gateways deployed.
