Technical Writers - Connecticut
Innodata Isogen is a leading provider of content supply chain solutions to Fortune 2000 enterprises, major libraries, museums and archives. A content supply chain is the sequence of activities necessary to create, use and electronically distribute information and information products e.g. product manuals, technical documentation, e-mail, web pages, online content, records, books and databases. Innodata Isogen is seeking to hire five temporary writers in the Fairfield, Connecticut area. We need two senior technical writers who have a good understanding of DITA and have at least six years experience in technical writing, two of which should be DITA experience. Primarily, the selected candidate(s) will be serving as an on-site project lead and liaison between the client and Innodata Isogen. Responsibilities include participating in design and planning meetings, managing writing assignments for your writing team, and conducting document reviews.

Eight+ years experience in roles involving the implementation of complex technology solutions that feature content mark-up. Expertise in data analysis and defining structured data; experience in XML technologies and semantic web standards; ability to lead the development of data models and specifications in using a range of standards, including: public schemas such as the W3C Schema and RelaxNG Schema with strong interdisciplinary communication skills.
